Our cardiac recovery unit includes a variety of resources for evaluation and monitoring, physical activity, lifestyle education, and support. Our goal is to get your heart back to optimal health and give you the tools to keep it that way.
In most cases, our work begins when you are an outpatient, coming either from the hospital, a clinic, or home. Our team collaborates with your previous caregivers to ensure continuity, and works with you to create a manageable, realistic, and sustainable care plan. This may include daily moderate exercise, respiratory support, medication, regular blood pressure monitoring, dietary changes, or other considerations. Our entire team is behind you to help you reach your goals.
Davis Place is proud to have a team of highly skilled medical professionals who specialize in heart health and cardiac recovery. Available 24 hours a day, they work with the rest of the staff to provide a full continuum of care, from the nurses who take your vitals to the chefs who adapt meals to your health needs, to the recreational staff who schedule activities of interest to you. Together, we help you prepare for a healthy, empowered future.
After my Grandfather's stroke, my family and I were fearful that he would never be able to live independently. With the hard work of every discipline at Davis Place, he was discharged home within a few weeks.
