Davis Place is a leading subacute care provider in Northeastern Connecticut, providing services to patients from Day Kimball, Hartford, Windham, Backus, and other area hospitals and clinics.

Our 32-bed subacute rehabilitation unit has been recently renovated and offers private suites with half bathrooms, redesigned shower rooms, and the use of a new, user-friendly telephone system.

We proudly offer physical, occupational, and speech therapy seven days a week.
Our clinicians combine decades of skilled nursing and rehabilitation experience with a focus on providing the highest caliber of care. We have seen much success in treating a wide range of patients with varying clinical needs.

At Davis Place, subacute care serves as a bridge between a hospital or other care facility and your home. Knowing the importance of returning to health and life as quickly as possible, our goal is to expedite a complete, sustainable recovery that promotes independence and prevents the need for a future return to the hospital or care center.

Our subacute care team—comprised of physicians, specialists, and expert therapists—creates a plan of care that considers patient needs and goals and incorporates the latest technology and best practices into a collaborative team effort.

After my Grandfather's stroke, my family and I were fearful that he would never be able to live independently. With the hard work of every discipline at Davis Place, he was discharged home within a few weeks. We were supported, educated, and provided with the resources that we needed for Grandpa to safely return to the home and life he loves. Thank you to all of the staff at Davis Place for caring for each and every patient like they are a part of your own family.
